Patterns to investigate.
Use scores to focus reflection, development planning and conversation—not to define a person.
ASSESSMENT TECHNICAL NOTES / PUBLIC REGISTER
A polished report is not a technical manual. These public summaries state what each Syntropix assessment is intended to explore, what evidence status currently applies and what a user or organization should not infer from the score.
CURRENT GLOBAL GUARDRAIL
The current public assessment suite is positioned for developmental reflection and structured conversation. Syntropix does not represent these scores as clinical diagnoses, population percentiles, neurological measurements or guaranteed predictors of performance.
Use scores to focus reflection, development planning and conversation—not to define a person.
High-stakes employment use requires job-related evidence, appropriate validation, fairness review, human judgement and applicable-law analysis.
Material item, scoring or population changes can require fresh evaluation before an earlier claim transfers.
PUBLIC INSTRUMENT REGISTER
This register covers the current individual developmental catalogue. Open each note for its construct focus, intended use and evidence boundary. Enterprise/system instruments will receive separate versioned technical notes as their evidence files mature. Statistical coefficients will be published only when version-specific studies support them.
Prioritisation, execution, coaching, accountability and the everyday managerial conditions created for others.
Manager self-development, coaching and structured cohort development conversations.
Not a standalone promotion, performance-rating or selection decision tool.
Broader organizational responsibility, judgement, influence, people leadership and decision quality.
Executive reflection, leadership development and coaching.
Comprehensive length does not by itself establish predictive validity or executive potential.
Adaptability, learning from setbacks and responses when plans, assumptions or operating conditions change.
Developmental reflection around behavioural adaptability.
Not a cognitive-ability test or neurological assessment.
Feedback receptivity, defensiveness regulation, translation of advice into action and proactive feedback seeking.
Coaching readiness conversations and development planning.
Does not determine whether a person can or cannot benefit from coaching.
Monitoring attention, challenging one's own reasoning and adapting thinking during decisions under pressure.
Leadership reflection and decision-development conversations.
Not a clinical measure of cognition, attention or executive functioning.
Learning approach, capability-building habits and adaptation of learning strategy as demands change.
Learning reflection and development planning.
Not an intelligence, aptitude or learning-disability diagnostic.
Internal rules and beliefs that may narrow professional choices, confidence or behavioural options.
Structured self-reflection and coaching prompts.
Not a mental-health assessment and does not diagnose maladaptive beliefs.
Assumption testing, downstream consequences and reasoning from the opposite direction before committing to strategy.
Strategic-thinking reflection and decision practice.
Not a validated measure of strategic intelligence or business performance.
Commercial judgement, rejection resilience, social initiation, negotiation composure, pipeline discipline and solution creativity.
Sales-development reflection and coaching.
Not a standalone hiring or sales-performance predictor.
Clarity, precision, constructive directness, checking understanding, composure and adaptation.
Workplace communication reflection and behavioural development.
Describes self-reported patterns; it is not an objective rating of communication effectiveness.
Patterns around closeness, uncertainty, distance, repair and relationship communication.
Personal developmental reflection and language for constructive relationship conversations.
Does not assign a fixed attachment identity, diagnose a relationship problem or assess mental health.
Self-observed patterns that may emerge under pressure, threat, defensiveness or competing motives.
Structured self-reflection, coaching prompts and behavioural experimentation.
Uses “shadow” as a developmental metaphor. It does not diagnose personality disorders or label a person narcissistic, psychopathic, Machiavellian, toxic or disordered.
Everyday patterns in attention, task initiation, persistence and responsiveness to reward or novelty.
Non-clinical reflection on work and self-management routines.
Not an ADHD, autism, neurological or other clinical screening or diagnostic instrument.
WHAT A FULL TECHNICAL NOTE SHOULD EVENTUALLY CONTAIN
As instrument-specific studies mature, versioned technical documentation should disclose the study population, administration conditions, scoring, missing-data handling, reliability/precision, structure, fairness, external evidence, limitations and intended interpretation.
Domain definition, item rationale, expert review and cognitive-interview evidence.
Item behaviour, missingness, internal consistency and uncertainty where appropriate.
Factor structure, convergent/discriminant relationships, test–retest and criterion evidence when relevant.
Cross-group, language and differential item functioning work where the intended interpretation requires it.
