PRIVACY

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 September 2026. This policy explains how Syntropix Technologies (OPC) Private Limited (“Syntropix”) processes personal information when you use our website, developmental assessments and related services.

Information we process

Depending on the service, we may process your name, email, account/access information, billing contact and country/region information, assessment responses, calculated scores, report content, research consent where separately offered, support communications, and technical/security information needed to operate and protect the service.

Payments

We process transaction references, product/order information, amount/currency, payment status and limited billing information needed to fulfil purchases, reconcile transactions, prevent fraud and support customers. We do not intentionally collect or store full payment-card numbers or CVV. Where Paddle processes checkout as Merchant of Record/reseller, Paddle independently processes payment, billing, fraud-prevention and tax information under its own privacy notice and legal obligations.

Why we process information

We process information to deliver purchased or assigned services; authenticate and authorize access; generate assessment reports; communicate about transactions and services; provide support; prevent abuse and fraud; meet accounting, tax and legal obligations; and improve reliability and user experience. Research use, where offered, is governed by the consent presented for that research purpose and should not be inferred from ordinary product use.

Assessment information

Assessment data can be sensitive in a workplace context. Our assessments are positioned as developmental tools unless a specific instrument/use case has separately established evidence and governance appropriate to another purpose. They are not medical or clinical diagnostics.

Service providers and international processing

We use technology providers for hosting, authentication, databases, communications, payments and related operations. Information may therefore be processed in countries other than your own, subject to applicable contractual, legal and security safeguards. We share only information reasonably needed for the relevant function.

Enterprise assessments

Where an organization assigns an assessment, the organization may receive information described in the relevant programme notice or agreement. Syntropix does not assume that an employer is entitled to every underlying response; disclosure should follow the stated programme design, confidentiality model and applicable law.

Retention

We retain information for the period reasonably necessary for service delivery, security, dispute handling and applicable legal/accounting obligations. Different records may require different retention periods. Payment and accounting records may need to be retained after an assessment account or report is no longer active.

Security

We use access controls and technical/organizational safeguards appropriate to the service. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Do not send passwords, one-time codes, CVV or full card details to Syntropix support.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, or complaint to a regulator. Some records cannot be deleted immediately where retention is required by law, fraud prevention, accounting or dispute obligations.

Children

Professional assessment services are intended for adults and are not directed to children.

Changes

We may update this policy as our services, providers and legal requirements evolve. The current version and update date are published here.
